covid-19

We have reopened for fittings!

LET’S KEEP EACH OTHER SAFE

We really love what we do, getting you all snazzy for your big day 🤍 It’s our joy and it’s what is keeping us going during this truly indescribable time. We would like to stay open as long as we safely can 🤍

How do fittings work in the era of COVID-19?

As of March 2020 (and until further notice), we will be operating under our COVID-19 protocol, which means the following:

  • Please come to your appointment solo, if possible. Our studio is nice & cozy, but not great for social distancing! Even prior to COVID, our policy was to allow a single guest; if you would like someone to accompany you, let them know that they will need to remain seated during our time together.

  • Come with your mask (optional) and be ready to wash those hands. We will have disposable masks available as well if you forget yours.

  • Our time together will be efficient, so come ready to decide. We are keeping appointments efficient, so make sure you try your dress on at home first and have a good idea of what you need help with. We will not accommodate any additional appointments outside of scheduled fittings, so try on all your accessories at home before your appointment.

  • If you’re dropping off/picking up, we’re going contact-less/curbside. We will bring out your goodies to your car for you and will ask that you do not come into the studio. Just text us and we will meet you outside!

Our team will also be wearing masks and washing our hands very frequently. Clorox wipes are our new best friend, and we are wiping down everything, all the time! Hand sanitizer will be available to you before, during, and after your fitting.

Please note that no-shows due to COVID are not covered under our late cancel policy; so please exercise caution before your fitting to protect yourself and others from getting sick.

Anything else I should know as a bride?

In general, we are doing everything we can to minimize the number of appointments needed so if you are coming in for a wedding dress fitting, count on the regular three fittings but be prepared to be delightfully surprised if we can get it done in two (we would then close your balance at second fitting and have you take your dress with you). You can learn more and read about our bridal fitting process here.

If your wedding or event is rescheduled or postponed, please note that (as long as we are operational) we will continue on with our fitting process and will likely finish within our standard 3.5 month cycle. Aiming to stay consistent in sizing and keeping your original shoes are helpful pieces of guidance to abide by - regardless of the pandemic!

As a reminder, deposits remain non-refundable, so make sure you come in for your fitting only when you are ready to get started with the fitting process which normally spans across 3.5-4 months.

We are joyful to get to be with you all again and help you get ready for your big day!

We took the pledge.

We, alongside many other wonderful local businesses, took the “Alexandria Promise” pledge with the Alexandria Department of Health.
